We had a fun night at The Comics Lounge in North Melbourne last night. You know the drill if you've ever been to an old school comedy night: a bill of 3 or 4 comedians, a slick MC and host, and a room full of rowdy, tipsy and willing party goers. Throw in six hundred and eighty two uses of the F-Word and you pretty much have the full picture.
After a shocking week at the office, it was just what the doctor ordered. I don't know whether it was the beers or not, but I found one story had me in raptures. It had something to do with the ancient Pharaohs having to use rocks as pillows, which gave them the funny walk. To cut a long and visual story short (picture a short fat man prancing around like an Egyptian for a while) - here cometh the punchline: no wonder they spent so much time at the Cairo. Boom boom.
Maybe you had to be there.
